ROHAN is a writer and director based in London. His short LIFTS currently sits at over 40,000 views online on MYM, and was selected at various festivals across the country including Brighton Rocks and Indie-Lincs. Rohan's follow up WINGS was a part of the 48 hour short film competition run by TAPE Collective and OTV, which was the winner of the main prize, and has recently released WEEKEND online, a short drama concerning mental health in university students which was nominated for Best Director at the London Director Awards. He is in post-production on his latest short, DAAYAN, a horror-drama inspired by Indian folklore.
As a writer, Rohan has had a pilot in development at Raw TV and is developing further television and feature projects. He was in the writers’ room for a Netflix comedy show and an in-house comedy development at Roughcut TV, where he is the comedy development coordinator.
Outside of film, Rohan is also a musician and is trying to learn Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence on piano, but is failing miserably, and loves reminiscing about nostalgic moments from his past that he will never, ever experience again.
